Tennis is a physically demanding sport - from rotation at the shoulder, back, and hips, to the forces placed on your ankles and knees when lunging, sprinting, and reaching for a shot. Most recreational players don’t have the physical foundations to keep up with the demand placed on their body, especially over 2-3+ hours of play each week.This programme was built to help you with exactly that.

After completion of this 8-week fitness plan you can expect to not only feel stronger, faster, and lighter on the court, but your joints will be able to endure more, you’ll pick up injuries less frequently, and you’ll be able to keep up with the opponents half your age.

BUILD SPEED, POWER, & AGILITY

Having great shot technique is important, but being able to generate power through your shots, move faster around the court, and confidently change direction on all surfaces is where a game can be won or lost. This exercise programme consists of moves that will improve these parts of your game.

IMPROVE ENDURANCE & CARDIO FITNESS

Tennis requires you to have physical endurance, but also cognitive endurance to make smart decisions while under fatigue. A players cardio fitness is hugely important for optimising both of these. This is something that’s addressed within this programme.

BULLETPROOF YOUR BODY FROM ACHES & PAINS

Aches, stiffness, and poor movement will substantially impair both your performance but also your enjoyment on the tennis court. This programme will help you to build mobility and stability where it matters so you no longer need to tolerate tennis elbow, achy shoulders, or a stiff lower back.
